Following breakfast, we head for a full-day excursion to Jungfraujoch, also known as the "Top of Europe." This breathtaking journey to the highest train station in Europe takes place on the UNESCO World Heritage Train, which runs via Jungfraujoch. The ascent is a strenuous nine kilometers, seven of which are through tunnels carved out of the magnificent Eiger and Mont Blanc mountains. There are two stations along the way, both with expansive windows that let in breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Once reaching the summit, tour the Ice Palace and the Ski and Snowboard Park in addition to taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, including Aletsch Glacier, from the Sphinx Observatory. Visit the world's highest watch shop, take a glacier trail walk to the "Stotzig Egg - viewpoint," tour the Glacier Cave, go snow tubing at the Titlis Glacier Park, and then stop by the renowned photo studio for a picture. Return to Lucerne at night. Stay the night in the Lucerne hotel.
